About me
I'm Louise and in August 2024 I officially set up my own cookie business 'Dunk'd Cookie Bar'.

I've recently moved to part time at my current product development job at Krispy Kreme, to be able to pursue my cookie passion.

My long term dream is to have my own little cookie bar, but for now I bake from my home kitchen for online orders, local markets and hope be able to stock some local cafes soon.
Why Cookies?
​Ever since I was little I remember wanting to bake cookies, purely to be able to eat any left overs out of the bowl before they were baked. I used to dream of the day when I was old enough to bake by myself, when no one could stop me eating the whole batch out of the bowl...

I've chosen to specialise in NY style cookies that are chunky, generous and still gooey in the middle, best eaten while still warm. The soft centers of NY cookies bring me closer to the cookie dough out of the bowl that I so crave, but in an 'grown up' type format!

A big inspiration of mine to be confident enough to only have a select few flavours is 'Van Stapele' cookie shop in Amsterdam. They sell just one flavour and have queues of people waiting to try the now famous cookie. As my cookie collection only has a small range of flavours, the flavours are always a mixture of classic, bold and unique, as well as having regular updates to the range.
